After you initial consultation an impression of your upper and lower teeth are taken and the mold is then sent to a Lumineers Lab. This mold is sent with photos and other records. Lumineers are unlike traditional veneers, typically there is no need for drilling, injections or temporary acrylics; making Lumineers the minimally invasive alternative. A second visit should be scheduled a few weeks from the first, for your dentist to fit and bond the Lumineers in place. The dentist will also check the contacts of you bite to make sure your Lumineers do not chip from day to day function.
